CN Maluku covers an area of 40,000 m2 with well-equipped facilities for the production and commissioning of river units and metal works
Maluku is the largest municipality in the city-province of Kinshasa (79% of the territory) which has a SNEL substation benefiting from the arrival of the 220KV high voltage power line from Inga - the hydroelectric power station of Bas-Congo , divided into 4 lines 30KV. Said 220/30KV transformer is currently only used at 10% of its capacity.
Maluku is touristic and very attractive for investors due to its designation as a Specialized Economic Zone (SEZ) by Decree No. 12/021 of July 16, 2012 in order to promote the economic development of the city of Kinshasa.
The CNM, located less than 4 km from the ZES, operates a large modern and well-equipped mechanical workshop allowing the machining of parts in accordance with the technical requirements of our customers.
The CNM operates a slipway capable of receiving, by means of its trolleys, 5 floating units of 500 T and 55 linear meters as well as a quay ………. With its large platforms directly accessible to the river, the yard builds floating units of over 1200T and 100 linear meters.
It should be noted the ongoing development work of a new slipway upstream of the current one that can accommodate floating units of more than 1200T and 100 linear meters.
The Shipyard also operates a floating doc capable of receiving 500T units, a large storage warehouse, a modern carpentry workshop useful for the interior trim work of our boats.
